A cosmopolitan's short narratives.

“Welcome to the kingdom of my imagination. Welcome to the world of the unpredictable reality. I live in Florida (sometimes in Sweden). My country of birth doesn’t exist anymore (SSSR). I am writing in English and Russian about my day-to-day life and the experience of living in different countries, observation of people’s life, traveling and fashion. Welcome,” jelena717@gmail.com.

Lynn Kavanaugh Cebula and Steve Cebula

from the Art festival in Ft. Lauderdale

First when I saw it, I couldn’t decide which material the artists used in their work. Then I went on the artists’ website and was surprised by discovering that their works are from wood or metal. The strong colors and the shape mix in the sculptures are too overwhelming for me. I have difficulty to associate these sculptures as a part of my house. Although my imagination is blocked where I would place these timepieces, I am wondering about what are other people’s fantasies about this art. I am sure there plenty of people who like this style of art a lot. Anyway, art is art and it should be fairly judged and it is your turn to do it.

Techniques information: techniques implied from a simple brushing on of the acrylic paints, to adding various mediums to the paint. Things like gel medium, sand, soil, water etc. all combine to produce the look sought for the piece and also used of sprays to produce some of the most eye catching patterns in color.
