from the Art festival in Ft. Lauderdale
I was thrilled by the work of this artist. For me, she is the best what I have seen in this show. Although I was already tired of everything that I saw, I couldn’t just pass her stand.
I perceive so much thoughtfulness, tranquility and peacefulness in her paintings. Vuu’s art, without doubts, stand out from crowd.
I would love to buy her paintings, if I would have money for that.
Information about her: Nha studied art in Taiwan for five years and developed the traditional principles of unity, balance and movement. She uses a contemporary style of Chinese painting and her work emphasizes superior brushwork in order to lend density, depth and an expressive power to mountains, trees, rocks and landscapes. The traditional painter uses fine solid strokes while the modern painter utilizes textured brushstrokes. Nha Vuu, a student of both schools, has combined the two methods to create her own unique body of work.
This gives her paintings the feeling of boundlessness and timelessness. Nha Vuu has developed her own style which embraces ancient yet sophisticated concepts of emptiness as well as contemporary brushstrokes which give her work “life-movement.”
