The mundane Monday

Nowadays, I seldom open my computer during weekdays.  I just do it when I really have to. I was surprised by a strong longing to throw a couple of lines to my blog. Remarkably, I still have some energy after 11 hours of work. I usually wake up at 5:45 and come home at 7pm. Tomorrow I will do my hot yoga, it is going to be so nice to stretch my body after long hours of sitting in front of computer .

The hurricane Irene has slighted Florida

The hurricane Irene has slighted Florida and moved to the north along East coast. No hurricane for me this time either. Two days prior the hurricane I saw on national TV the chaotic mandatory evacuation which was called out by many states. At the end of the story, everything ended up without catastrophe, which had been predicted by TV. The hurricane Irene was not even on level one. Some people have died, because they ignored the warning and went out in the ocean during hurricane, what a stupidity. You can’t play around without Mother Nature, it can cross the whole planet in a second, but some people still do not get it.

I did my Yoga today and the rest of the day I am planning to spend preparing for the coming work week. In addition I have to do all mundane chores which you can’t skip it. I know that I had not been diligent during past weeks when it comes to the writing. I blame on my work. I really work a lot, but I like it.

I have a couple of articles, which I have not published yet, from my latest travel, but they are on Russian and quite big. I will do it someday.

A hurricane warning.

Today I got news, South Florida got a hurricane warning! This is my third summer and I’ve not yet encounter a hurricane. Apparently, this time it is very serious. It is suppose to come on Friday. We bought water, lantern and food cans for a week head. We prepare ourselves for a week without electricity, TV, internet, gas, water and air conditioning, the latest is really tuff. I am a little bit excited but worried too. You never know how it will turn out. People, especially who have houses, prepare themselves as to a war: acquiring shutters to cover windows, taking inside garden furniture, buying water, filling in cars (gas went up), etc & etc and etc. My company is going to close too. Some kind of unwelcome vacation. If I will manage to take pictures on this spectacle of nature, I will publish as soon as internet access is back.
